Our imported security paper has single tone (electrotype) all-over mosaic design and is suited for value document printing and is available only to Guillemot in Southern Africa.
The paper has the approval of the Cheque and MICR Standards Authority for cheque printing and is rated amongst the highest grade of security papers available globally. The paper has anti-forgery features which include pen and ink sensitising , solvent/chemical sensitising, corrector ink indicators, protection against ball-pen ink removal and resistance to mechanical erasure.
The paper also has two invisible fibres which fluoresce when irradiated by ultraviolet light, accepts chemically reactive inks and is compatible with all high speed readers and printers.
Laserguard adds an impressive feature for documents being personalised by laser. Removal of Laser ink with use of adhesive tape results in the destruction of the paper.
